About Me

Hello, I’m Sarah von Köhler.

Creativity has always been at the center of who I am. From the very beginning, I’ve felt a natural pull to make things — to imagine, build, experiment, and bring ideas into the world. Art has always been a part of my life and simply the way I move through it in life.

I work across many forms of creativity. Painting and mixed media are some of my favorite ways to express ideas visually, but I also love creating with my hands in other ways — crafting, experimenting with materials, cooking, and baking. To me, creativity isn’t limited to one medium. It’s a mindset and a way of experiencing the world.

Writing holds a particularly deep place in my life. My poetry and books are not just stories — they come from real experiences, personal growth, and moments that shaped who I am. Through writing, I explore healing, reflection, and transformation. My hope is that the words and art I share can resonate with others and serve as a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration.

Everything I create comes from a place of curiosity, honesty, and passion. My goal is simply to share what I make with the world and hopefully spark creativity, reflection, and connection along the way.
